Have you heard of Encyclopedia Brown?
The series Encyclopedia Brown was written by Donald Sobol. It is about 10 year old Encyclopedia Brown who solves mysteries for children in his neighborhood in the summer and solves cases for his father in the winter. Only his parents and teacher called him his real name Leroy. Everybody else called him Encyclopedia. He is called Encyclopedia because he has read more books then anyone in Idaville and he remembers what he reads. Most of the mysteries are solved with the help of his junior partner Sally Kimball. Sally is the most athletic girl in 5th grade.
