World Water Day

Did you know yesterday was world water day?

Water is one of the most important things needed to sustain life. But about 783 million people don't have access to clean water. Also, many parts of the world do not have enough clean water to drink and cannot serve all its people's needs. So the United Nations declared March 22 every year to be world water day. On that day people think of the importance of water and how to conserve it.

Here are a few ways to save water. If you take short bath  and turn off the tap while you put on soap you save more then 1000 gallons a month. Also if you close the faucet while brushing your teeth, you save 200 gallons a week and that can feed a family for a day.

From now on I will try my 100% to save water! Will you?
