Hanging Gardens Of Babylon

I wrote about the Hanging Gardens of Babylon because it is one of the seven ancient wonders of the world. It was built in Iraq 600 B.C. It is the only ancient wonder that has no proof if it existed. It was built on a roof or terrace. It is called hanging gardens because of plants hanging from the roof or terrace.


It was made in a roof because it was rare at that time to have a garden on a roof. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon was built by the King of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar. It was built to make his wife happy because she was homesick.
