Seasons
Today I learned about the seasons. I thought it very interesting and I am going to tell you a little about it.
The seasons change because of the way the earth travels around the sun. The earth is tilted on its axis. In winter days are short and nights are long but in the summer the days are long and nights are short.
A season should have its own temperature and weather. Plants and animals change depending on the season. Plants have different stages like a bulb in Autumn. Birds migrate to the South in the winter.
Animals like the dormice hibernate in the colder seasons.
My favorite season is summer because I like playing outside! What's your favorite season?
