The Golden Ratio
I made a project on the Golden Ratio for my Russian Math class.
The Golden Ratio is a very special number. The Golden Ratio's symbol is the Greek letter phi. Imagine you had a line and divided it in 2 parts a and b if a/b = [a+b]/a then the numbers are in the Golden Ratio.
The Golden Ratio has a close relationship with the Fibonacci sequence. The Fibonacci sequence goes like this 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34 and so on, and every number is the sum of the previous 2 numbers.
Many architectural structures, sculptures and even nature has the Golden Ratio!
