Grasslands

Grasslands occupy one fourth of the land. Grasslands are plains that are in between forests and deserts.

Trees like the Baobab have tough bark because in the dry season fires can occur in the grasslands. In the tropical grasslands there are only two seasons which are  the hot rainy season and the dry season. The temperate grass lands have all four seasons. The grasslands have many animals like  the Gazelle, lion, zebra.
